Pie Face Explained: Game, Showdown and Common Questions

Type “Pie Face” into a search bar and you get a game, a newer version of it, and a few people sharing the name, all at once. Sorting out which one you need comes first, and a UK price snapshot from Idealo UK price comparison lists the Showdown version at £24.99 including VAT, so this page separates sourced facts from open questions, one question at a time.

Nine facts, one pattern: the snapshots put Showdown above the standard game, as PriceSpy UK comparison shows for both editions.

Where is Pie Face from?

The sources do not say where Pie Face started, and that gap matters because the name covers more than one thing. It can mean the original board game, the newer Pie Face Showdown, or a person with the same name.

Keeping those apart also changes how the game is described. Sahm Reviews blog describes Showdown as removing the dice-based chance of the original and replacing it with a race of speed.

Where does Pieface live?

• No input gives a home address, city or country for anyone named Pie Face.
• The creator profile text does not supply a home location, so none is inferred here.
• Shop listings show where to buy the game, not where anyone lives.

The implication: a claim about a home town needs a named record, and the research did not retrieve one, so treat such claims as unsourced.

How did Pie Face get famous?

No input explains how the game or any person became well known, so this question stays open. The closest signal is retail activity: in April 2015, Good Housekeeping UK consumer editorial advised shoppers to shop around because stocks were selling fast.

When did Pie Face come out?

• Release date of the original game: not stated in the inputs.
• 2015-04-21: Pie Face was listed at thetoyshop.com for £20, at Argos for £19.99 and at Amazon UK from £32 (Good Housekeeping UK consumer editorial).
• 2016-10-01: Showdown was due online through the Hasbro Toy Shop at US pricing of $25, according to Sahm Reviews blog.
• 2017-12-29: Pie Face was listed at £25.00 and marked sold out (Rules of Play UK retailer).

The trade-off: the dated records prove retail activity, not origin, so the timeline starts with shop snapshots rather than a launch.

Why did Pie Face collapse?

No input describes a collapse, so the premise is unverified, and the sources do not confirm it.

Marketplace data shows wide price spread instead. According to eBay UK marketplace category, one brand-new Hasbro Pie Face item is listed at £9.95 and pre-owned items run from £6.43 to £7.49 in that snapshot.

Why this matters: a collapse claim that circulates without a named source can shape buyer choices, so the safe reading is that the evidence is silent.

What age is Pie Face?

No age or height figure for any person named Pie Face appears in the inputs. The only age numbers in the sources describe products, not people.

For the original game, Rules of Play UK retailer lists an age rating of 6+.

How old was Pie Face on Big Brother?

• No source links Pie Face to Big Brother.
• The Big Brother reference appears only in the wording of the question, so it is unverified.
• Any age claim about a real person needs a Tier 1 or Tier 2 source first.

How tall is Pie Face?

• No height figure appears anywhere in the inputs.
• This page gives no height, because no sourced figure exists.

How rich is Pie Face?

No source in the research gives a wealth figure for anyone named Pie Face, so no answer can be sourced.

Who is Pieface married to?

No source names a spouse for anyone named Pie Face.

Does Pie Face have a disability?

None of the sources address health or disability, so the question stays unanswered.

The catch: a question about a real person’s age, wealth or body can only be answered by a named record, and none turned up in this research.

Are Pie Face pies good?

The inputs describe a board game, not a food product, so no pie product named Pie Face could be verified. The price question is where the evidence is strongest.

How much does the Pie Face Showdown game cost?

• Lowest UK price for Showdown: £24.99 including VAT, excluding shipping, in a snapshot dated 2026-11-01 (Idealo UK price comparison).
• PriceSpy UK lists Showdown from £23.74 in the retrieved snapshot, with no date attached (PriceSpy UK price listings).
• Pre-owned Showdown listings start from £4.99, according to an eBay UK search with metadata dated 2025-09-01 (eBay UK marketplace search).
• Idealo UK’s family board games category lists Pie Face Family Board Game from £17.99 across 3 offers (Idealo UK family board games category).
• Top Christmas cites an RRP of around £19.99 to £24.99 for the 2015 original (Top Christmas toy review site).

Two editions, one pattern: Showdown costs more on UK price snapshots while asking for about 10 minutes of play, according to PriceSpy UK comparison.

The implication: the price gap is the most concrete finding here, but it is a snapshot gap, not a confirmed market price.

“We’d suggest shopping around or being patient with waiting lists, rather than splurging on higher prices.”

Good Housekeeping UK consumer editorial

“Pie Face Showdown is simply a battle of speed.”

Sahm Reviews blog reviewer

The two editions share a name, but the evidence treats them as different games with different prices. The original is the cheaper, larger-group option, while Showdown is the quick two-player contest at a higher listed price. Prices are the weakest part of this record, because most snapshots carry no verified date. For a UK buyer weighing the two, the choice is clear: buy the standard Pie Face for the lower price and group play, or pay the Showdown premium only for a short head-to-head game, and check the listing date before either.
